Welcome to the Cerritos Community College Rotaract Environmental Club!

Tired of seeing trash and students throwing garbage around campus? Noticed the lack of recycling bins or drives around campus? Think that the campus could use more trees and be more environmental friendly? Want to make a difference?

Looking for a group or club which has the same goals and passion for the environment?
Then we say Welcome To the Environmental Club!

About us:
The Cerritos College Environmental Club is an unofficial club in our campus which is driven by dedicated instructors and students who share the same goal: making the campus better by coming up with ideas and putting it into action which will eventually lead to a cleaner and greener campus.

Think about this for a moment, us being pioneers of this club and in the long run seeing the changes and improvement be made around campus knowing that you are part of a club that has done something to contribute not only to our campus but to mother earth, now that's rewarding.

Club Activities:
Since the Environmental Club has just started, activities are still in discussion. A few activities to look for are hikes and environmental trips to increase awareness about the environment.

Interested?
We welcome all students and we encourage members to invite their friends and classmates to join the club.

Instructors are Prof. Crystal Lovetere and Prof. Smita Rawal and we only meet once a month, in which schedules will be announced via flyers around campus and members by mass email.
Meeting are always held during Tuesdays at room PS8 and it starts at 11:00 am.

See you there, and like you we are ready to make a difference!
